What can be reviewed?
- consumer credit agreements and repayment schedules;
- debt assignment documents and notices;
- payment orders issued by Bulgarian courts;
- enforcement writs and bailiff notices;
- bank account, salary or pension seizures;
- limitation periods and procedural deadlines.
Why timing matters
Bulgarian payment order and enforcement proceedings often involve short deadlines. Before making a payment or signing a settlement, the documents should be reviewed to check whether the claim is proven, enforceable and correctly calculated.
Do not rely only on phone calls from debt collectors. Ask for documents and obtain legal review before acknowledging the debt in writing.
